Performance Stream

The 9x option is for swimmers who are competing and performing at a high level provincially and who have achieved National time standards across OJI’s, CO, CSC, and Trials or who are within a reasonable margin of doing so. Swimmers must have established a routine and reputation of excellent training habits and etiquette with their coach, with an enhanced sense

The 8x option is for swimmers who are competing and performing at a high level provincially and who are working towards National time standards or have achieved them across OJI’s, CO, CSC, and Trials. Swimmers will be expected to communicate often and effectively with their coach regarding their performance and training goals, and are still developing the habits and etiquette of effective training at this extremely high level. This group also includes 3 swilers sessions.

The 6x option is for swimmers who are competing and performing at a high level provincially, but are either unable to meet the demands of the 8/9x options or are just beginning their time in the performance stream and are becoming accustomed to the intensity and time demands of being in this stream. The group trains with other performance swimmers 4x a week, and spends time with Perf Dev 2x a week. This group also includes 2 Swilers sessions.
